Allison uses a combination of Swedish massage, IASTM (instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization), as well as more active techniques and myofascial to treat common issues such as back and neck pain and more serious conditions including impingement, whiplash, disc herniations and more.

Having experienced the struggle of dealing with chronic pain herself, Allison understands the importance of making small changes in daily habits to help decrease stress or pain and create a better quality of life.

She also enjoys creating tailored care plans and educating patients on how to combat these issues and achieve their health goals.

In her free time, Allison enjoys dance and swimming as she believes freedom of motion and mobility are very important for an active healthy lifestyle, as well as for everyday life.

Satsuki Tsuzura moved to Vancouver from Japan in 2012 and graduated from the Langara College RMT program in 2017. She has been practicing massage therapy full time in the Lower mainland area since then. Through her professional practice and her own life experience she has developed a deep understanding and recognition of how massage can improve people’s quality of life, both physically and emotionally, and the benefits it provides to not only the patient but their family and support network as well.

With a blended style of techniques, such as Swedish, Deep tissue, Trigger point release, Myofascial release, and Joint mobilization, she tries to find the most effective treatments for clients. She is passionate about all areas of people’s health, and one in particular is women’s health. She thinks women need proper support for the various health issues experienced by women at all stages of life, such as; pregnancy, post-partem, menopausal issues and post-surgery.

Outside of the clinic, Satsuki enjoys hiking and bike riding. Spending time in the great outdoors of BC is like meditation for her. Reading is another joy; books often give her new perspective and knowledge which she believes helps her better relate to people and her career.

Satsuki can provide services in both English and Japanese.

I graduated from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy after completing 570 hours in the student clinic, 325 of which were spent hands on treating clients. I believe that with today's stresses, relaxation must be incorporated into treatment for the body to heal. A combination of relaxation and therapeutic treatment is essential for a successful outcome with clients.

I worked as an exterior siding contractor for many years before becoming a clinic manager in a multidisciplinary clinic. This is where I began to notice how beneficial massage therapy can be to a client's health. After long discussions with my wife, I decided to change career paths to become a RMT even with a new baby on the way.

My passion for helping others began early in my life, and I continue to seek knowledge and development as an RMT. I believe that no two bodies are the same, so we cannot treat them in the same way. Customizing treatments for each client by not only listening but also hearing their needs.

I like to spend my free time chasing my two daughters, golfing, running, playing baseball, curling, fishing, and generally enjoying the outdoors.

“Time and health are two precious assets that we don’t recognize and appreciate until they have been depleted.”
